Harmless and yet scary, playful, but serious, real and yet illusionist.
Beach against mass tourism, nature against roads, oceans against fish industry. In his pictures, Michael Schreckenberger ddresses destructive man-made phenomena. In addition to paintings in oil or acrylic are also to see sculptures made of garbage. Sustainability is one of the central themes of his works.
The exhibition is the second part of the series "Participation". In 2019, art and sustainability go hand in hand at BASF in Schwarzheide.
