Photoparcours NARRENBÄUME

The photoparcour of the NARRENBÄUME by Wilhelm W. Reinke is a photo project that places people in an original relationship to nature. In order to symbolize the proportionality of people's overpowering nature, Reinke symbolically selected the tree in its biodiversity. Following this point of view, the subordinate human being is depicted naked in his purest nature, in his most vulnerable manner. Humans has cultivated nature, longing for it for a time but still destroying it in many regions of the earth.

The aim of the exhibition series is to gain attention for this ambiguity, in which humans ase making a fool of themself more and more. The question of the relationship of human to nature is redefined in every picture and often turns into foolishness. Against this background, the photos are installed in both natural landscapes and human-made spaces - following the motif of 16th-century NARRENBÄUME, when the fools were shaken out of the trees.
